Positive impact through the fair trade fund 2021
On top of the fair trade price and additional fair trade premium of 5% is paid as an additional sum of money that farmers decide how to invest. Fair trade farmers can contribute with their work to enrich their communities.
In 2021 the fair trade fund was spent in:
20 Hospital beds and soap bags.
School fees for 210 students.
Purchasing 25 tons of organic manure for the farmers.
It fills us with great joy to see the smiles from the farmers when the day to spend the fair trade fund arrives and they see the positive impact of their work.
The farmers deliver the new beds to the hospital in Mahon, Burkina Faso.
