The use of the 2022 fair trade fund

On top of the fair trade price, an additional fair trade premium of 5% is paid as a complementary sum of money that farmers can decide how to invest to help their comunities. This way, fair trade farmers can make a positive impact in their communities.

In 2022 the fair trade fund was spent in:

  • 5 kits of medicines and pharmaceutical products

  • School fees for 210 students.

It fills us with great pride to be able to participate in a different way of conducting business, where our activities have a deeper impact in the life of our suppliers.

The farmers receive the medicine kits in Mahon, Burkina Faso.

Do you believe fair trade is positive for developing countries’ farmers?
